Lots of superb clay target shooting grounds and airgun clubs across the country are taking part in National Shooting Week. In addition, many rifle ranges are also participating but legislation only allows them to have a strict number of guest days for organised groups such as the scouts or Women’s Institutes.

The organisers of events during National Shooting Week are:

• Shooting grounds that are ‘registered’ by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA)
• CPSA-affiliated grounds that reach the same high standards to cater for novices
• Recognised shooting schools that coach novices to a high standard
• Clubs affiliated to the National Smallbore Rifle Association
• Clubs and ranges affiliated to the National Rifle Association
